  1. I first joined St. Barnabas because my parents made me go here and because I wanted to be a part of the "family". The people meant a lot to me, always taking an interest in my concerns, my triumphs, my life. I was involved in youth group and teen choir, did some ushering and other tasks. My first St. Barnabas experience helped me develop by relationship with Christ and gave me a good start on my Christian life journey. More to come...

  2. We joined because we liked the preaching of Ronald Hubbard and the choir. The service was familiar as we had been members of St. Mark Presbyterian Church in Tucson. After we visited, Pat Jebavy came calling with little Judy.

  3. The second time I joined St. B was a year after I was married. Mary and I had joined a mega-church and didn't feel like it would make a difference to anyone if we showed up or not. We made St. Barnabas the first stop on our visiting list. It felt like home to me, and Mary was immediately taken in by the warmth of the St. B members, especially the ones who knew me from my childhood days. That ended our church "shopping" for good.

  4. After moving to Richardson, Texas from Shreveport, La., we were looking for a church home similar to the church I grew up in, First Presbyterian Church. We found that at St. Barnabas. The people were very friendly, and welcoming. After hearing about the LOGOS program and what it had to offer to the children of this congregation, we decided that St.Barnabas was the church for us. Our children Laura,17, and Christopher 14, always remember the evenings at LOGOS on Wendesday nights with much joy and happiness!!

  5. Roy - Ron Hubbard looked and sounded like God. Those of you who knew him know I am right. Then we made a mistake - as 25 year olds we volunteered as teen leaders and sunday school teachers. A funny thing happened - acting kindled faith - that is the magic of St. B.

  6. I joined because I had no choice. God demanded it of me. I worked hard to avoid that choice but could not. I was scared I would be devestated again by the church; I was angry with God; I wanted to hide. But the message was clear. Join! That was about 16 years agao.
